My two strays - Ella, the 14 yo black and white Papillon mix, was adopted after being found tied up in a parking lot. Whatever abuse she endured in the 7 years before she came to us she keeps bottled up in her wary ways. Simera, the resident Italian Greyhound, helped her navigate her new life. After Simera crossed over, Ella was a bit lost. Now along comes Ginger, the 3 year Whippet mix, a transfer from Maui Humane. Though not carrying as much emotional baggage as Miss Ella, she's still learning to trust the world. Ella is cautiously accepting the new family addition and Ginger is happy to have a home.
