Layla has battled all odds and is a healthy, happy girl today! She was given up by previous owners nearly 3 years ago when they could not care for her. She was 18 pounds, couldn't put weight on her front legs without pain, emaciated and sickly. I "fostered" her and Valley Fever was diagnosed. Within months of medicine, healthy diet and love she was running around. Today she is a permanent and loved part of our family...still on meds, but a healthy 40 pounds and hoping to beat Valley Fever permanently soon.
