She has taken on the job of looking after her fifteen-year-old sibling who has the deaf and is losing her sight. Because Millie can no longer hear me leave a room, she sometimes gets closed in and Lola lets me know immediately that Millie needs help. Millie is also terrified of thunder and Lola licks her face when she is shaking and afraid. She keeps her so busy that she forgets that she's afraid. Lola is 6 pounds of wonderful.
