Dexter (left) was adopted through French Bulldog Village Rescue & Adoption (FBV) in July 2011. He was on his fifth home by the time he was 15 months old. With severe acid reflux but an insatiable desire to be mischievous, what was funny for a few minutes became a burden to most. With lots of medical bills behind him, Dexter has worked himself into a mellower senior lifestyle.

Pi, the yang to Dexter's yin, spent the first five years of his life living in a cage and used for breeding. As such, he developed IBD and has very long nails. Almost 7 years after Dex was saved, Pi got the opportunity to become part of a family. The years of neglect have affected Pi physically, but his disposition is very sweet. These two show what work a breed rescue group does. They handle the variety of medical, behavioral and situational issues with flexibility and commitment.

Together, their images from intake to adoptive living have provided a full spectrum of what it means to be saved by being seen.
