Eggsy picked me! I visited the shelter a few times, and each time I noticed the sweetest pup but I wasn’t quite ready to commit. I always gave this special pup a treat, he would wag his tail and I would move onto the next kennel where I did the same thing. After a few visits there was this one time in particular as I approached Eggsy’s cage with a treat.. where he reached up to shake my hand ever so gently, kinda like a “hey, nice to formally meet you.. let me introduce myself!” I left that day, with him on my mind all weekend long and I could not wait to see him again! Our next interaction was a huge hug, welcoming him into our family! Like I said, he definitely picked me and we’ve never looked back!
