Pet's Story or Bio
We brought Zippy home from the Sequoia Humane Society on 3/15/14, when he was about 6 months old. He came to Sequoia with other dogs from Salinas. He is thought to be Cardigan Corgi and Wire Haired Dachshund. About three years ago two discs in his back ruptured and after surgery he doesn't have enough strength in his back legs to stand by himself. We got his a cart, and he adapted to it immediately. He scoots around the house without a care, and he goes to Hydrotherapy each week. He can walk with a life jacket and the bouyancy of the water, and has walked 2 miles in about 40 minutes. He is happy, healthy, and truly loved.
