My Pet's Story
Nikita has had an interesting life in her 3 short years. She was given the wrong amount of anesthesia for her weight after being fixed when she was 7 months old. Because of that, she went blind. Within a few weeks of going blind, our Vet was able to get her some eyesight back. But she cannot judge distance. So she doesn’t jump on counters! Yet, she can see a fly across the room!
She initially had two dog sisters and two cat brothers. When she became part of outle family, she was drawn to her dog sisters. Because of this, she acts more like a dog. She fetches, wants outside (like a dog would), and goes to the door when you say someone’s there.
We lost the last of her dog sisters in December 2017. Now she lives with her 15 and 7 year old cat brothers.
