My Pet's Story
I went to the human society to adopt an older, chubby, black, female cat. I brought my roommate to meet her before I brought her home and found out my roommate was massively superstitious and very frightened of black cats. Out of respect to her I broken heartedly decided not to adopt my first choice. As I was tearing up in the corner of the cat room a scrawny little orange cat that had been following me all morning (from a very safe distance) very carefully approached me, jumped on to the window ledge next to me, and began purring and licking the window. My roommate and I looked at each other and knew that this little window licker was meant for me. Seven years and an FIV diagnosis later and he’s still the best friend I’ve ever had.
