My Pet's Story
We adopted Karly from Sioux Falls Area Humane Society in January 2020. We had been devastated by the loss of our previous family dog of over 10 years the month before. We wanted to rescue again. Karly had been an owner surrender and came to us with little information. We could see that she had previously given birth to puppies. A lady visiting the shelter said sarcastically to us out front "A pit-bull!? Good luck with that!" Well lady, we have had good luck. Even though we have been able to tell that Karly's prior life was very lacking, we have showed her what a loving home is and she has learned the ropes and become a part of our family.
