Prince is a survivor of FIV from the streets of Bulgaria. Ivailo, a cat advocate from Sofia Bulgaria, fed him as a street cat for about a year, describing him as kind and curious and also, the boss of the block. Then one day in early 2022, he showed up to Ivailo’s limping, unable to eat, and with a bloody leg. It was then that he was given two weeks to live by a vet in Bulgaria. Ivailo brought him here on a plane with a catport passport (yes a real passport for cats) at that time and he was hospitalized only to be diagnosed with toxoplasmosis. After beating it with the help of the wonderful SFAMC staff, we were able to adopt this precious soldier. He loves to be spooned and held like a baby and is thriving in his new SF home. Oh, what love can do.
