Dog's Story or Bio
My wife and I had been contemplating adopting a dog for a little while, our 11 year old husky has been receiving chemotherapy for treatment of lymphoma and just have the energy to play with our other dog anymore, we saw Diamond was up for adoption at Shadow Husky Rescue. Diamond was in a loving home but her owner worked up to 16 hours a day while Diamond was left in her crate all day, he new she needed a better life than that and decided to reach out to Shadow Husky Rescue to help place her in a good home. I think that we really rescued each other because now Diamond would have room to run all day long and Aspen, my lab mix, would now have a playmate that could keep up with her. Diamond did not disappoint, she is loving and full of that husky energy and has been an awesome addition to our family
