Dog's Story or Bio
I found Shadow (formerly Bazzi) online at the Carson Animal Shelter. Shadow came in as a stray. He was labeled as "rescue only" for 2 months with code red down to his last days. I was not ready for a dog as my Samoyed just passed, but I could not believe nobody was going to rescue him so I submitted my application as an inquiry and Shadow Rescue contacted me that they would rescue him if I fostered which I was happy to do. About a few weeks later; I found out he had giardia, pneumonia, and some ticks! I could not imagine him going to another owner with the risk of ending up at the pound! I officially adopted Shadow and he has been living a loving happy life with our family. He is about 3 years old now. He is extremely smart! He wakes me up at 6:30 AM howling at me (my alarm clock goes off around this time), can run 25-30 MPH towing a skateboard and absolutely loves being in the water and snow! He is a picky eater and enjoys eating meat. His current favorite toys are the hose, watering can, and a trash can lid!
