Dog's Story or Bio
Raney came from Riverside Main shelter. When they brought him out to me, he sat right in front of me, looked me in the eyes, put a paw on each of my shoulders and told me he was the one. I looked at 5 males that day. He watched me and scratched the door. I took him.

They tell me he was seen thrown from a truck and abandoned in the hills. He was supposedly stray for a couple weeks wandering. He was shy and had occasional panic attacks riding in the truck. He still ducks away from fast motion or a hand towards him in memory of being hit in the face I suppose.

He now, after 3 years on the ranch, is very comfortable and not afraid to show his playful side. This photo is him hunting lizards the same year I got him. He was just about a year old.
