Rules:

Submissions will be open beginning on August 26th at 8:00 AM EST, and close on October 7th at 11:59PM EST
Free to enter and no limit to the number of submissions one person may make
Once a photo is submitted, it will appear in the online gallery and will be open to voting by the public during the voting period until October 7th at 11:59PM EST
The same pet can be entered into the contest multiple times, but votes will not be combined across multiple entries of the same pet. Each photo earns votes separately
Once entered, photos and stories may be used for digital promotion purposes by HeARTs Speak. By entering this contest you grant us permission to use the image and story.
Please include the name of the pet(s) included in the image with the entry and how they represent the idea of SHELTER IN PLACE
We reserve the right to decline publication of any photograph for any reason

Image Requirements:

Image must feature an animal who is currently adoptable or in foster, was adoptable or was a foster pet, or has been adopted
Images may feature animal(s) of any companion species, including dogs, cats, rabbits, guide pigs, rats, mice, birds, ferrets, horses, fish, and reptiles
Images may include people
Please try to ensure that the photo is sharp and in focus with a clean background
Submissions should be as high resolution as possible (300 ppi), in a generally accepted file format such as jpeg or png, and should be in landscape/horizontal or square format. If the photo is not of proper resolution please note that we may need to ask for an alternate image of that pet to appear in the calendar.

Online Voting:

Voting by the general public is available for a $1 donation per vote and can be in any whole dollar amount
We encourage you to email the contest link to family and friends and encourage them to vote!
Persons may submit as many votes for as many photos as they wish
All votes will be periodically tabulated and displayed on the contest website. There may be a temporary delay in displaying the most recent tabulations.
Voting begins on August 26th at 8:00 AM EST, and close on October 7th at 11:59PM EST
