Pet's Story or Bio
Isabella and her brother, Roscoe, was pulled from a Georgia shelter with a foster lined up (Foster begged for the pull). Within a week, the foster abandoned them at a vet office and SoMD was scrambling to find a new foster.
Temporarily, they came to my house for a few days and then to boarding, back to my house for two days and then to their fabulous Ga Tech fosters in Atlanta. They had the best summer hanging with the sorority girls and frat boys and learned to overcome their fear or uncertainty of stairs, sit, down, and how to be great dogs.
They were a huge summer project for SoMD. They attended adoption events at Petsmart in Atlanta and although both Isabella and Roscoe were loved by many, no one stepped forward in Atlanta to adopt them.
They ended up heading north to Maryland on different volunteer transports and were adopted by family members so they still get to see each other.
