We are a small rescue organization based out of Mechanicsville, MD. Our mission is to rescue and rehabilitate sick, injured, abused, neglected, and abandoned dogs and cats and then place them in stable, loving homes.
Our rescue focuses on animals in Georgia because the need in the southern region is overwhelming. The animals we rescue are immediately taken to see a local vet where they receive vaccinations, heartworm tests, spay / neuter, and any other treatment they require. Donations from the public help with the expense of daily care and maintenance of these animals. To keep costs down, we do not keep our own building. We rely on fosters and boarding facilities to care for the animals we rescue until we find them a home. A dedicated group of volunteer drivers then help us get them there.
While we wish we could save them all, we accept that is unrealistic. But, with 300 animals placed since opening in 2015, we remind ourselves daily …
