Roxie was found wandering in the streets when she was just a few weeks old. The morning after we adopted her, we took her to the vet to initiate her shots, schedule her spay appointment, and find out why our adorable new puppy had been sick all night. According to the wonderful Dr. Becky, little seven week old Roxie had Parvo. After rushing to the emergency vet 40 miles away to get puppy plasma, Roxie started her five day stay in puppy ICU during which she received three transfusions. Today she is a happy, healthy, and very active 14 year old member of the family. When she was 10, a DNA test revealed her to be a Miniature Pinscher, Boxer, Cocker Spaniel, and Japanese Spitz mix. All we know is that she is 100% adorable and the sweetest girl you could ever meet.
