Your Pet's Story or Bio
Houdini wandered into my front yard one cold December evening in 2007. Dirty and hungry, she came right up and let me pet her and pick her up. We took her in and called SMAWL. I had fostered for SMAWL for years in the past, and had been on the board as as the Treasurer, so they were more than willing to help me out. SMAWL helped me get Houdini vaccinated and spayed. She is part of my family now, and has patiently accepted a new dog and cat since coming to us. My whole family adores her.
