St. Mary’s Animal Welfare League is the leading animal welfare organization in St. Mary’s County with exemplary shelter and lifesaving programs that creates positive and humane outcomes for companion animals and community cats.

We provide animal welfare services for pets and people through rescue, spay/neuter, pet retention, and advocacy programs in order to create a safety net for companion animals and community cats.
