A little about me...
A medium-sized snake, is found mostly in rocky country, active at night and feeding on small mammals. The coloration is variable and depends on the color of the rocks and soil of the habitat. This individual was one of seven captive born specimens at my facility. He seldom rattled nor struck, since I was his care-taker since birth and would always come to the from of his cage when he saw me. His behavior was quite different when a visitor came in the room with me. He reverted back to a defensive rattlesnake instantly, rattling and retreating into his log.
