Interesting information about the animal
After being relocated from a house right before a firefighter was going to introduce this snake to the business end of a shovel, it was released in this abandoned barn, where it promptly climbed this beam and made it clear just how it felt about my saving it from its fate. Filled with fire and fury, Ratsnakes are one of my favorite colubrids in North America. The X, my long-trusty herp-mobile makes an appearance in the background.
