Tully is a multi-generation labradoddle whose grandparents came from Australia. Tully, who is named after a rainforest and national park in Australian was trained as a service dog and served as a demonstration dog for a non-profit 501-C3 organization I co- founded in 2009 called "Dogs 4 Disabled Veterans". The organization saves dogs from shelters and they live and are trained by inmates at the Martin County Department Of Corrections as service dogs and placed with disabled veterans or veterans with PTSD. Should Tully win, half the proceeds will be donated to this organization. Tully is well trained in basic obedience, but he also is trained to pick up dropped items, remove socks, retrieve the phone, bring sneakers and open the refrigerator for demonstration of some service dog tasks.
