Kiki is approximately 18 months old. She was rescued suffering from medical negligent and has been diagnosed with the auto immune disease - pemphigus foliaceus, and a digestive disorder that limits her ability to digest food. While neither of these medical conditions are contagious, she'll require lifetime medical treatment to manage her health and to allow her the best chance for a normal life.

Kiki is a 'poster bully' that 'no bulldog should be left behind.' With the supportive care of many volunteers and overwhelming out pouring of compassion and concern expressed by thousands of her followers, Kiki is well on her way to having the best life possible for a little bully struggling with her illness. No bulldog or pet, no matter the medical needs, advanced age or 'lack of interest' by owners should be allowed to suffer wasting away until they die alone and forgotten. Had it not been for the persistence of a concerned neighbor that intervened to save Kiki, surely the out coming would've been much different - her rescuer saved her life.
