We found Eve on 1/2/17 on PetFinders. She had been rescued from a bad owner who bred her and sold her puppies. The rescue convinced the owner to surrender Eve and her mate (the male), who unfortunately died while being cared for by the vet. I contacted the rescue facility on 1/2/17 and went to meet Eve that same day. The rescue offered us a "sleep over" for Eve the following day. Eve spent the night with my husband and I on 1/3/17, and we adopted her the next day 1/4/17. She was in need of eye surgery and had an eye infection. Thankfully our trusted and loved vet has been able to help us bring Eve back to full health and weight. She loves to play with toys, go for rides, and visit her "grandma." She is the sweetest and most loving bully ever. We kept her name as symbolic of Eve, the first woman... and being the first of a new year and all.
