Katie is a Southern California Bulldog Rescue alumnus. She was purchased 'On Sale' at a pet shop in Las Vegas. Born in a puppy mill she spent lots of time in cages and had a host of medical issues. She came to Rescue with intestinal trouble, anxiety and dislocated knees among other problems. She couldn't seem to connect with people - no doubt due to her early life traumas.

She became a 'Foster Failure' after spending 6 months with me, having surgery and medical attention for other issues, she made our house her home and decided to stay.

Katie is absolutely irrepressible. With her googlie eyes, funny walk and 'I'm gonna get what's mine attitude', she has come such a long way and now lives her life to the fullest even in her Golden Years. I have learned so much from this goofy girl. She's helped me grow and made me more of a go-getter than I ever was before.
