On April 11th, 2017 this handsome 3-4 year old english bulldog was available for adoption at our local shelter, with the same name as our street, which I took as a sign. I went down to see him as soon as they opened and immediately fell in love with his face in my picture I took and adopted him after bringing my male pug that we too adopted from a rescue 4 years prior to meet that day. Well long story short, we had a few flare up between the males these last 2 months. While I was trying to possibly re-home him from the flare-ups, I was recently put in contact with a local bulldog advocate, Laurie. I wanted her help finding an appropriate home familiar with the breed. She was a blessing from the first time we talked, her passion for the breed and she knew my Po's backstory since March. Became FB friends, I ordered a custom dog blanket that she made for a fundraising she's doing to help two local bulldogs. So, she was finally going to meet the bulldog she heard so much about. So, after coming over on 8/15/17 meeting him and loving on him, he reminded her of her Tucker that has since passed. After sharing his pics on her FB. We have all come to realize that our Po was once named Panda and was from the same parents as her Tucker, but a litter after. With my given info, their baby pics and confirmation that this pick of the litter from the stud owner this year, was purchased from an a$$ who surrendered him. He is mello , loving and that's why we renamed him Po, after Jack Blacks character in Kung Fu Panda. His journey ends with us.
