Rules

Entries are limited to Bulldogs, also known as English Bulldogs or British Bulldogs. Bulldogs may be exhibitor dogs, rescue dogs, family pets or combination of any of the aforementioned. Submissions must include at least one bulldog but may include other bulldogs, too. No American Kennel Club (AKC) or breed standard requirement, although, as stated, only purebred Bulldogs are eligible. No age limits. No humans allowed in photos. Commercially reproduced photographs from professionals will not be accepted without proper releases.


Each entrant must pay a minimum $5 entry fee per photo submission. If you pre-order a 2019 calendar in the entry process you will receive 5 free votes on your entry. You must pre-order you calendar(s) in the entry process to receive 5 free votes. If you enter the contest and pre-order your calendars from the standalone 2019 calendar pre-order page, you will not receive 5 free votes.

Photos may include more than one bulldog. Resolution of the image may limit its ability to be used in calendar.

Submissions will be accepted on-line only from August 1st, 2018 to August 31, 2018. Voting by public during the submission period and until August 31, 2018 for $1 per vote (minimum $5).

Voters are prompted to make a donation (minimum 5 votes) at the time of voting. Entries will receive one vote for every $1 donated during the voting process. After you submit your entry, you have the opportunity to ask your friends and family members to donate-to-vote by sending them the URL for your entry or using the "Tell-A-Friend" form when you log in to your account on the Contest website. Keep in mind that you cannot combine votes from separate photos/entries.

Proceeds from the voting and calendar entries go to Southern California Bulldog Rescue for the care and maintenance of rescued bulldogs.

If you make a single $25 donation at one time for votes or other reasons, you will have the ‘25 votes' needed to earn ‘ONE FREE' copy of the completed ‘No Bulldog Left Behind" calendar*. Delivery of the free calendar earned is included.

Examples:

• $25 will get 25votes and one calendar.
• $50 will get 50 votes and two calendars.
• $ 75 will get 75 votes and three calendars.

This formula will continue on counts of 25. Delivery is included in these transactions.

Voters do not have to use all votes at the time of donation. Upon donation, voters will be given the option of applying all of the votes to one image or storing the votes in an account. If voters choose to store votes, they can be accessed and voted with a User ID and password at any time during the contest voting period.

All proceeds from the event will benefit bulldogs in various bulldog rescue programs, to include, but not limited to Southern California Bulldog Rescue and supported bulldog rescue programs.


Donations made through the "No Bulldog Left Behind" Bulldog Calendar Contest and Online Voting donations are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law. Contact us for more information if a receipt is requested.


Two for each month of the calendar to include 24 bulldogs for the calendar year.

An additional 2 photos for each month for a total of 24 photos will be randomly drawn for total entrants less those photos already selected for being in the calendar.

Photos may only include Bulldogs – no people or other dog breeds – to be eligible entries. Each photo entry may only be submitted once and must be submitted by the owner of the Bulldog. Contest opportunity is exclusive to Bulldogs. All photos must be non-explicit in nature. Failure to abide by these rules and the contest waiver will automatically disqualify entry. Submitted photos will become the intellectual property of the No Bulldog Left Behind Bulldog Calendar and its sponsors.

In the event winning photo submission does not meet reproduction requirements, those winners will be allowed to resubmit acceptable photo of the same dog in 14 days after notification.

Special consideration will be given to mood studies, beautiful portraits, action shots, unusual snapshots, and photos that capture the tone of specific holidays.

Winners only will be notified by electronic or postal mail no later than October 1, 2018

• ONLY digital submissions will be accepted.
• Images must be horizontal (landscape) format
• May include one or more pets, one must be a bulldog.
• Any image that includes people, or content that is deemed inappropriate, indecent or obscene, as determined by the staff, will be removed from the Photo Fundraiser.
• Subject to the approval of calendar printer for use as calendar art submission.
• Replacement photo may be requested in the event winning photo does not meet reproduction requirements and must be submitted in 14 days of the request by calendar designers.
