A little about my entry...
I fell in love with exploring our beautiful Sonoma County hiking trails later in life. At first I was all about the fitness aspect and hungry to go farther and higher. I barely have any photos of those hikes my first few years. Anxious to learn of new places to hike, I went online to find a Sonoma County Hiking Facebook group. When I didn’t see one, I decided to create one. At first it was just me posting my hikes. Then the group just kept growing and growing . My group is now 9,700 strong. It is an amazing, inspirational community. It is called Sonoma County Hiker. I now saunter on my hikes as I love capturing the beauty thru photography. I just use my iPhone 11 to take my photos. I have lived in Petaluma over 23 years. I am so blessed to be only a 10 minute drive over to Helen Putnam Regional Park. So many wonderful trails to explore, so little time. Make memories out on our trails.
