A little about my entry...
Ayla is the nursery and seed programs manager at the Laguna de Santa Rosa Foundation. She earned a Master of Science in Biology from Chico State University, with a focus on botany, and has more than 15 years of experience in the CA botany field. Prior to joining the Foundation, Ayla worked at Floral Native Nursery and managed nursery operations at Central Coast Wilds and the Sonoma Ecology Center’s native plant nursery. She has also worked as a botanical consultant, restoration technician, and teacher. This photo was taken by the Doran Beach visitor center where Ayla helped grow hundreds of native dune plants for habitat restoration. She also loves surfing at Doran!
