Sammy is 9 pounds of ferociousness! He is all dachshund and size does not matter to him! We have had him since he was a pup. He is a Momma's boy and does not let her out of eyesight. Lucky was rescued by SGF. Dan saw him on the SGF website and fell in love with him. We adopted him in May, 2014. We found out that he had been in 7 different homes in the last year. (The SGF foster rescue was his 6th and ours his 7th.) He was scared and showed us that by barking and biting. We hired a dog behaviorist to work with us and him. The behaviorist was amazed how far he had come in a short period of time and encouraged us to keep working with him. Today he is Daddy's boy. He loves to play and cannot have enough toys!
