How did you come to adopt your rescue animal and how does your pet bring joy to your life?
My son is autistic and we have found from an early age that animals calm him in a way nothing else can. We have a dog that we adopted and she has been such an amazing companion to Cameron, but he had always spoke of wanting a cat. I decided to surprise him one day and while we were driving to the adoption center I told him what we were going to do. He burst into tears! I have never seen a reaction like that out of him. He couldn't contain himself. That day we met Sunny and knew without a doubt he would be the perfect fit for our home. From the moment we brought him home he has felt like family. Both my children adore him and even the dog has grown attached. I could not imagine our home without him. I can't say thank you enough for helping to complete our family!!
