How did you come to adopt your rescue animal and how does your pet bring joy to your life?
Winston is a foster fail from Southside. When I started fostering him, he had no fur and had countless types of bacteria on his skin and ears. His ears were so swollen, I couldn't find the holes to put the medicine in them. He didn't know his former name, Reese, so I gave him a name for suited to him.

It took months, but he started looking like a Westie! He is the calmest, sweetest baby. I can't imagine life without him. He loves his 3 legged kitty best friend, Ruby. He has been patient with the other two fosters we have had here at home, and he loves everyone he meets. Win loves to sleep, and I have to wake him up every morning. When I'm home, he won't let me out of his sight. He is just the sweetest soul.

Win started my fostering journey. Selfishly, it feels so good to help an animal get healthy. The fact that I can help a creature that cannot help itself is even more rewarding. I'm thankful for Winston and to Rosie and everyone at Southside who works so hard to help animals have a better life.
