How did you come to adopt your rescue animal and how does your pet bring joy to your life?
We saw Sadie on a Facebook post a friend shared from Southside. She knew we had lost our last dachshund and were looking. Sadie Grace had been picked up by authorities the year before and returned to her owners only to be taken again.
She had been beaten and starved. Just a bag of bones who would shrink away from you.
She is a joyful loving bed bug now who camps, naps, dancing for her dinner and loves life. We are crazy about her. We adopted a dapple dachshund on the same day from a puppy mill and they are great friends.
They are a joy.
