How did you come to adopt your rescue animal and how does your pet bring joy to your life?
I lost my beloved black lab in April 2017 and by the end of May I was ready to look for another baby. I found Daisy but she wasn't quite ready to come home. She had terrible fear issues! So every day (but Tuesdays) for 2 weeks I came and sat with Daisy. At first I needed treats to get her trust, but after a while, she would come running to me. Daisy still has trust issues but I don't plan on giving up on her! She is such a cutie! And talk about crazy!! She howls (like she's yelling at us) at us for treats! Daisy won't have to worry about anyone hurting her ever again and I look forward to the day when she sits in my lap and lets me love on her and rub her belly!
