Your Pet's Story or Bio
Adopted from Pet Smart (c/o southside animal shelter). He was adopted on 10Mar2023, born November 2022. He and his litter mates were born during a snowstorm, and I’m told Salji is Croatian for ‘snow’ (his litter mates also received snow-themed names).

Why I am thankful for my pet...
He has a BIG personality! He’s wild, inquisitive, curious, and also sweet and loving. On the first night I had him he was so small, and when I awoke in the middle of the night he had managed to climb his way onto my TALL bed and nestled himself between the two pillows. I was amazed by his determination ! I adopted him because my other cat passed after 18+ years of companionship. I was worried my other cat, Boots, was lonely with the inexplainable loss of his lifelong (9+ years at the time) friend. After a few months of adjustment they are (more or less hah) the best of furriends.
