Ranger had a fun time porpoising through a deep wheat field recently as is shown by this photograph. It was challenging to photograph him as he rose to the top of his jump, and after several tries I had the shot I wanted. Things ended abruptly because Ranger, whose ears are seen going vertical, managed to spear an eardrum in this experience. A successful trip to the vet and lesson learned - OutFox head gear every time he is in a field!
