Pet's Story or Bio
Zeke is an interesting and affectionate fella with an unusual combination of two vastly different breeds. Part Labrador Retriever, he carries a strong work ethic, is good-natured, and has a high prey drive. Part Chow Chow, he can be independent, aloof at times, and suspicious of strangers. Enveloping the best of both breeds is his loyalty and intelligence --- Zeke respectfully watches every move his handlers make, is often ahead of what is expected, and enjoys hanging out on the sidelines with a human buddy. His story kinda leaves us wondering if Zeke is waiting to exhale so he can relax into a home where the magical canine bond can be made first.


Zeke needs a quiet, stable home environment with no children, no dogs, and no other animals --- this way, the time and attention of his human companion(s) can be invested in solely him, something we think he's not yet experienced.
