Rules

• Photos of dogs and cats are accepted.
• Your pet does NOT have to be adopted from the SPCA of Anne Arundel County.
• Your photo may contain more than one pet.
• People are not allowed in your photo. Only pets.
• We can not accept Polaroids, photos with digital overlays, photo stickers or doodles or any copyrighted photos.

Contest participants are responsible for ensuring that they have the right to submit the photos being entered in the contest. By submitting to the contest, you affirm that you are the photographer or have been given unrestricted use permission by the photographer to include the photo.


Photos of cats and dogs are accepted! Your pet does NOT have to be adopted from the SPCA to be eligible to enter the contest. The registration fee is $18.00 for one photo*. More than one pet is permitted in each photo. High resolution photos should be of the pet (s) only - no humans, please. Participants may only submit photos to which they have the rights to reproduce. Entries must be received by March 15, 2018.

*Each registration fee includes one copy of the 2018/2019 calendar.


Each vote requires a $1 donation (for 1 vote), and there is no limit to the number of votes each person may cast. You can cast 10 votes for $10, 20 votes for $20, 100 votes for $100.00, etc. You may vote for your own photo as many times as you wish. Online voting begins as soon as the photo is registered and ends at 11:59:59 pm EST on March 31, 2018. In addition to our online system, voting can be done by mail. Offline votes (mail and in-person) must be received by 5:00 pm on March 29, 2018. Voters must identify the pet and owner's name to make sure a vote is credited to the correct photo.
