Pet's Story or Bio
I searched online for a Husky or German Shepherd pup for months before I came upon Skye's photo. It was love at first sight and I instinctly knew she was meant to be a part of our family. I adopted my beautiful 4-legged, blue-eyed Husky-Shepherd mix Skye when she was 4 months old from a family in the Bay Area who were trying to find her a home because they couldn't keep a pet in their rental. She has been my family's greatest blessing. I have children and she is so gentle, loving and protective of all of us. She's extremely friendly and affectionate and loves to lick the faces (she aims for the face always) of even strangers. Strangers are often fascinated by her billowy, soft fur and striking features and will inquire as to her breed. I've had someone claim that she was part wolf ( ha, ha). Her piercing blue eyes reflect a deep and old soul and I talk to her like she is one of the kids and amazingly she understands. We love our Skye and want to share her natural beauty with others. We are forever thankful for her very being. Thank God for dogs.
