Pet's Story or Bio
Katy was found abandoned on a farm in Washington 8 years ago with a litter of 6 puppies. She was approximately 1.5-2 years old. After her puppies were weaned and adopted, (with agreement to return for spay/neuter) Katy was placed for adoption. Her gentle eyes stole our hearts but her body and her coat were painful to see. She healed quickly, physically, although her separation anxiety remained. We love her to the ends of the earth and will do anything to ensure she has a happy, healthy and stable life. Katy gently returns this deep and abiding affection and is our constant companion. She delights in her morning walks in Rip Van Winkle forest with her buddies, Molly and Stella. Her afternoon adventure is often on the steep climb up Huckleberry Hill, where the photo was taken. We can't imagine our lives without this gentle, funny and cherished girl.
