Pet's Story or Bio
I adopted Posey at 8 weeks of age from ACGSRescue. She is the light of our lives, the happiest puppy I have ever seen. Our morning begins with kisses and her tail wagging, which never stops. She joined our family of 3 rescue kitties and a 2 year old Bichon, Lexie . Posey loves to play frisbee and ball, my little energizer bunny, brings a smile to everyone she meets. She loves to travel in our RV, going to many Firefighter Charity Softball events where she proudly wears her own uniform. She also loves to visit with her sister, that was adopted by my brother who lives in Southern CA and brother here in town. She eagerly await's her monthly deliveries from Amazon, Chewy and Bark Box, as she knows there will be treats and toys waiting for her. I have taken videos of her doing this and also of her at play and she is so smart that when I replay them, she immediately goes to my phone or iPad and wants to watch them. She is so good at tracking that I have been working with her because I believe that her true calling is a search and rescue service dog. I really believe that she was put on this earth to assist others;not just for the unconditional love that she brings us but for the joy she soreads where ever she goes. I do a lot of fundraising for the rescue and the President has stated that over the last 20 years we have fostered/adopted more animals, even special needs then anyone else. That is probably why I am so privileged to now be a professional pet sitter. In doing so I get to go to senior/ assisted living facilities where Posey and her sister(not biological) Lexie visit and bring joy to the elderly. In all my years of breeding dogs for Shutzhund, namely world class German Shepherds and Rottweilers, I have never had a dog so willing to learn and who was so loving at the same time. Posey is not only cute, cuddly, smart but the most loyal and loving puppy that I have had the privilege to give a forever home to. If more people could see her, I truly believe that they would adopt and not buy. Even if you don't put her in your calendar, I would love for her story to get out. I know everyone thinks that their dog is special, but if Posey convinces just a few families to adopt, then I believe her mission is done.
