Pet's Story or Bio
Stella is a 2 year old American Bulldog who was adopted in May of last year from the SPCA of Monterey. She was part of the Ruff Start program at SVSP and went by the name Maxie. Stella was adopted by the family of a correctional officer who works at SVSP. Almost immediately they fell in love with her. After the home visit with Stella, the family knew they had to have her. On May 19, 2017, Stella was adopted into her new family and fit in perfectly. She now lives on a 10 acre property with plenty of room to run and play. Stella adjusted quite well to her new surroundings of farm animals she had never seen before. A few of her favorite things to do is play fetch, chase chickens around the yard, get in the pond, and relax on the deck. Even though she is mighty, Stella is a gentle giant!
