Maggie was found loose in Watsonville. She had been over bred, and found with Buck shots in her abdomen. She has many scars on her body, plus some of her teeth were broken to the jaw bone. Peace of Mind Rescue paid for her recovery at Pet Hospital Ryan Ranch for 3 weeks. At the hospital, surgery to remove bullets, remove some teeth, get her fixed, and chipped. Of course all vaccines as well. I saw her with her Foster Mom the day she got out of the hospital and had to have this sweet little girl. Was able to adopt her 5 days later! With all the abuse she had to endure in her previous "home", we are now giving her the life she deserves! She no longer flinches when you reach to pet her. Trust took awhile, but she now enjoys everyday. It took around 3 weeks until she finally relaxed and knew she was safe, could wag her tail and smile again. We have had her for almost 6 months now. She is our sweet loving Maggie Mae
