Anette was found roaming in San Antonio's Brackenridge Park, we'll never know if she was lost or abandoned but she was a lovable young cat from the git-go. She was captured at almost the same time two litters of 6 week kittens were abandoned and that I subsequently trapped over a two week period. The kittens were in various states of disrepair and we had a hard leave date for our summer travel to Carmel, no agency or foster could be found in time so they all came with us to California (10 total). Anette took them all in as foster mother and worked hard with us to help them. All found homes, some here, some in Texas, some with the help of the Monterey SPCA. Anette has officially retired from being a foster, but she still keeps our other cats very much in line!
