5 Days after we had to put our kitty cat Raider down😓💔 Gracie just showed up on the property🙏🏻

We had lived there at that point for about seven years and had never seen another cat on our 1 acre property but our own inside cats.

She interviewed us for about two weeks and then one day she jumped on to both of our laps...& that was it💕

For the next few days she let us pet her and feed her outside as if she had been there for years. She had Zero interest in coming inside & then one day vanished as quickly as she had appeared....

Days later and upon her return on a Friday night & after 5 PM of course... We noticed that she had an large abscess on her back so we rushed her to the after hours emergency Vet Clinic at Ryan Ranch to take care of her.

We let them know that she was not our Cat but we were happy to pay whatever it took to help her.

They said we could not because we were not the owners.

Thankfully they scanned her for a chip and she had one but her owners phone number was disconnected. She had traveled quite a distance to reach us over a few Mountain Ranges.

The Vet wrote us a letter and she was ours and we were now free to pay the bills LOL

We have Loved her ever since & can’t imagine Life before Gracie.... we felt very blessed for her arrival and that is how we came up with her name.

She filled the void in our hearts and melted them both simultaneously💕❤️🐾
