Three years ago, my mom and I walked into a pet store to buy dog food, and Peace of Mind Dog Rescue from PG was there for an adoption event. Walter (a senior, blind poodle) was looking for a new home. We met him, fell in love, and called Peace of Mind a few days later to adopt him. He’s been the most amazing companion ever since! He resides with my mom in the suburbs of Sacramento, loves his morning walks and car rides, and teaches us every day to not let anything slow us down!
