Pet's Story or Bio
My daughter adopted Winnie from the SPCA in 2020 as an emotional support cat as she was transferring to UCSB. As it turns out my daughter is Winnie’s emotional support human. From the moment she came into our lives she has brought an energy like non ever. Some might even call her a bit spicy. Some of her quirkiness is when my daughter comes home from work Winnie runs to the door to greet her as if she were a dog. At night when she wants to play and my daughter is asleep Winnie drags all of her toys and places them in front of her bedroom door. Her breed is a Norwegian Forest Cat. It is rumored that when the Vikings came over the Norwegian Forest cats bred with the domestic cats producing what we now know as Maine Coon . Winnie would make the perfect addition to the 2024 SPCA calendar.
