Pet's Story or Bio
Chase was rescued in Rancho Cucamonga and lived in Southern California for seven years until he moved to Carmel with his mom and dad. His name is “Chase” because he was a runner and liked to get out of the house and be chased by his family! We think he’s about 13 years old based on the veterinarian’s estimate when he was first rescued. He’s sweet, but can be unapproachable and a little prickly with other dogs. When Chase first moved to Carmel, his mom took him to a dog whisperer and the dog whisperer told Chase’s mom he didn’t like his name Chase; and that he would prefer to be called Magoo. His mom and dad considered giving him that name. But, it was too hard for them to learn a new name, so he remains Chase.
