Pet's Story or Bio
Simba is a rescue from the Union County Humane Society in Tennessee and relocated with his family to his mama’s hometown of Pacific Grove. Starting at 8 weeks, he started his relationship with the SPCA of Monterey County, attending online puppy school during the pandemic with our wonderful behavior specialists, Wendi and Bonnie. By now, Simba is three years old and still works with Wendi weekly to support his special needs. He has always been a very sensitive and anxious pup, who needs so much extra tender love and care, and prefers to stay home with his Pacific Grove wolf pack, made up of his home family of four humans, two turtles, and his little canine sister, Nala, from the SPCA of MC, as well as nearby grandparents, “titios,” and cousins—both the human kind and the canine. Simba’s family feels so grateful for the supportive staff and resources provided by our SPCA to keep Simba and Nala happy and healthy.
