The Top 5 prizes will be awarded based on votes. All entries, regardless of votes, will be considered for a Pet of the Month.
Grand Prize:
Your pet will get top billing as the cover star be AND be featured inside as a Pet-of-the-Month. If that isn’t enough, your pet will also get recognition in the opening pages of the calendar!
The SPCA has teamed up with a professional photographer to award the first place winner with a professional photoshoot for their beloved pet.*
*A new color portrait will be taken by a professional photographer. The photograph will be taken in the Monterey Bay area prior to October 2022. It is this photograph that will become the calendar cover. If a photo is unable to be taken, it is the SPCA’s option to consider a photo provided by the winner. The photo must meet the standards required for the cover of the calendar. If the provided photo does not meet standards, an alternative prize will be awarded.
2nd Prize:
$200 Gift Certificate to Anton and Michel in Carmel (valid through May 31, 2023, not valid on Saturday nights or Holidays)
Two tickets to a Monterey Symphony concert (valid through May 2023)
- $100 Gift Certificate to English Ales Brewery in Marina (valid through December 31, 2022)
3rd Prize:
Dinner for two at Lucia Restaurant and Bar located at Bernardus Lodge in Carmel Valley (valid through November 23, 2022, must call the hotel directly to redeem the certificate)
Two tickets to one Carmel Bach Festival main concert (in section three or four) at the Sunset Center in Carmel
- To-go Clam Chowder Party (includes two clam chowder bread bowls and one order of fried calamari) at Old Fisherman’s Grotto in Monterey (valid through December 1, 2022)
